West Texas Veterinary Specialists (WTVS) is proud to extend board-certified internal medicine services to veterinary clinics throughout Midland, Odessa, and the greater Permian Basin. Midland–Odessa Service Schedule
Dr. Kirk Sears provides internal medicine services in the Midland–Odessa area every Wednesday. This standing schedule allows clinics to reliably plan for specialty case support.
For cases that require more immediate attention, earlier appointments can often be coordinated in Lubbock.

Our internal medicine service supports veterinarians managing complex or chronic medical conditions. We provide consultation, diagnostic planning, and case management tailored to each patient and clinic.

Oncology Tele-consultation (Available Daily)
WTVS also offers oncology teleconsultation services led by Dr. Avenelle Turner. This service is available daily and provides referring veterinarians with access to board-certified oncology expertise for case review, treatment planning, and ongoing cancer management support.
This ensures that clinics in Midland–Odessa and the surrounding Permian Basin have consistent access to oncology guidance regardless of on-site specialty scheduling.
