West Texas Veterinary Specialists (WTVS) is a mobile specialty and teleconsultation practice dedicated exclusively to serving veterinarians throughout West Texas. Based in Lubbock, we travel to veterinary hospitals across the South Plains, Panhandle, and Permian Basin regions. WTVS does not accept appointments from pet owners; instead, we partner with primary care veterinarians upon their request to deliver board-certified specialty care to their practice.
Our mobile specialty services include a board-certified small animal internal medicine specialist and a collaborating board-certified small animal surgeon. We also work closely with a board-certified veterinary oncologist who provides teleconsultation services. Together, these specialists offer advanced diagnostics, advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, and comprehensive specialty consultations performed directly in your hospital. This model keeps pets and their owners in the comfort and care of their primary veterinarian’s hospital.
For practices outside our travel area—or when additional insight is needed—internal medicine and oncology teleconsultations are available to support complex case management and treatment planning.
